# Team management

> Manage your organization, invite members, and configure team settings.

Manage your organization and administer team members from **Settings > Team**. Team settings control membership, roles, billing access, and collaboration on team-visible projects and shared chats.

## Team overview

The top of the Team section displays your organization name and current member count, such as "Purna Lifesciences Pvt Ltd - 2 members".

## Team members table

A table lists all members of your organization:

| Column | Description |
| --------------- | ---------------------------------------- |
| **Member** | Name and email address |
| **Role** | Owner or Member |
| **Joined date** | When the member joined your organization |

Each row includes a menu with additional options when actions are available. The organization owner's row may have fewer actions.

## Roles

| Role | Permissions |
| ---------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Owner** | Full control over the organization, including members, billing, plan settings, and organization configuration |
| **Member** | Access to their own chats and files, plus team-visible projects and shared chats they are allowed to view |

## Collaboration model

Team access is controlled through two main surfaces:

1. **Project visibility** determines whether a project is personal or visible to the team.
2. **Chat visibility** determines whether a specific conversation is private or shared.

Private chats remain private even when they belong to a team-visible project. Share conversations only when their contents are appropriate for team access.

## Inviting members

Click the **Invite** button to generate an invitation link. Share this link with new team members. When they open the link, they will be guided through the join flow.

### Joining a team

When someone receives an invitation link (`/join?code=...`):

1. They open the link in their browser.
2. If they do not have a Purna account, they create one.
3. They accept the invitation to join your organization.
4. They appear in your team members table.

## Organization billing

At the bottom of the Team section, manage billing details for your team account. Click **Edit** to configure your billing address and update payment information.

<Note>
Team plan features such as SSO, custom branding, shared administration, and expanded member limits depend on your subscription. See [Plans](/guides/settings#plan) for details.
